Chili



Ingredients:
3/4 tsp. olive oil
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup red bell pepper
1 cup water
1 (15 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 tbsp. garlic, minced
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
salt and pepper, to taste

In large pot, brown ground beef, onions and pepper in olive oil. Add water, crushed tomatoes, and garlic. Mix well.  Add seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.

Makes 4 servings.
